INTERNATIONAL NEWSLETTER EDITOR
An Invitation To Participate

As the Police/Law Enforcement Professionals Fellowship of Rotarians encourages the membership of computer literate ROTARIAN serving and former serving members of Police and Law Enforcement, and Associate Members (Friends of PoLEPFoR) Fellowship interaction over the Internet continues to be the preferred form of communication.

Please Email the Chairman/CEO with your thoughts at polepfor@onaustralia.com.au

Our Web Site has been updated

We continue to seek potential or existing members who are interested in establishing their own Regional, District or country Chapter of the Police/Law Enforcement Professionals Fellowship of Rotarians. Again, please feel free download our International Newsletter for distribution but please keep in mind that any variation to the International Newsletter will require authorisation from the Editor.

Our Fellowship can only expand by the active input of potential and existing members.
To this end with members permission we have commenced to post a pictorial gallery  of Fellowship`personalities' with a brief biography . It will give you a welcome break from looking at your Chairman! (ho ho!)

Singapore Rotary Convention

In concert with our Information Booth at the Singapore Convention, the Singapore Police Department is joining us with a static display, video and pamphlets which will complement our own presentation, along with guided tours of the Singapore Police facilities.

In previous years, our  Information Booth has hosted static displays which were  mounted by the Strathclyde Police at the Glasgow Convention in June 1997, and the Indianapolis Police Department in 1998.

Both displays were very successful and the Police/Law Enforcement Professionals Fellowship is indebted to Rotarian Superintendent Graeme Pearson of Strathclyde Police and Chief Michael Zunk of the Indianpolis Police Department.

RECENT ADVENTURES IN THE PHILIPPINES

News and Notes

We have been liaising via E-mail with our first `Founding Executive Member', former Sheriff of Ozaukee County, Rotarian Mike Milas.

Mike has since left the Rotary Club of Port Washington (Port Washington is a declared  Rotary Peace City) and moved to Virginia where he now works for Ericsson Communications.

Rotarian Mike is still very active.      Those from the Rotary Club of Fonthill, St.Catharines, Niagara, Canada, might inform our `wandering' second `Founding Executive Member', Rotarian Sergeant Robert Schottlander, of Niagara Regional Police, to touch base with `Tango Sierra Papa'.

You will find we are now linked to a number of excellent Police and Law Enforcement Web Sites around the world which we invite you to access for your own networking purposes.     In one or two  cases, some professional Police and Law Enforcement Lists might require a validation of a serving or former service Police/Law Enforcement service, but generally the websites are open to non Police and Law Enforcement, and especially to our Associate Members..
