Dick
Singh served in the Prime Minister's Hurrican Relief Committee
for ten years headed by Ratu Sir Kamesese during his Prime
Ministership of Fiji. Both men have experience in the provision
of homes to the poor. The Prime Minister's Hurricane Relief
committee provided some 5000 homes
as relief housing during the 10 year period.
