Recent and Coming Highlights Meeting
Venue The club
weekly meeting is now held at the Mordialloc Sporting Club, Community
Kitchen Project Maureen
McDonald of the community service committee is managing a new club project
called “Community Kitchen”. The program
provides information and instruction in basic food preparation from purchase
of foods to cooking and serving in three hour sessions held over 10
weeks. The program is held at St
Matthew’s Church hall, Nepean Highway Cheltenham. So far two programs of 10 weeks each have
been undertaken commencing in April and July with up to seven participants each
week. The next program commences on 10
October July and runs to 19 December Annual
Mayoral Golf Day – 19 September The Annual
Charity Golf Day for 2008, run by the Rotary Club of Mordialloc in
conjunction with the City of |
Annual Club Changeover 2008 The
annual changeover of club officers for 2008 was held on Tuesday 1 July at
Doyle’s Bridge Hotel, Mordialloc. Outgoing President Graeme Bruce reported on
club activities of the past year.
Incoming President David Brunt and his team were welcomed into office.

Club of Mordialloc’s 2008 Annual Art Show was held at Westfield Shopping
Centre, Proceeds of
the Art Show will go to local youth programs of Rotary. |
