PACIFIC AUSTRALIA CULTURAL EXCHANGE (PACE)

This program is offered to students between the ages of 15 and 17, giving them the opportunity to stay in a family home (or homes) in such places as Fiji, Tonga, American Samoa and the Cook Islands under the care of Rotary supervision during the summer school holidays in January of each year. Similarly, students from the Pacific nations visit Sydney and its surrounds. Airfares, pocket money etc are the responsibility of the students’ family. The opportunity to learn about a different culture helps to foster world understanding and good will, and encourages the student to become more mature and responsible.
