Other Activities and Achievements

Two medilog tape recorders purchased for RPA costing $3124 financed by the club and partly by the government.
Lloyd Gollan-Charter president became our first Paul Harris Fellow.
Repairs to Talking Book cassettes by club members saves Royal Blind Society over $10000.
$1220 donated to Christian Community Aid Eastwood to assist in purchase of a house.
Assisted with renovations of house-Ken Walker
Rotary Foundation increased to 500%
$400 donated to IPAC to support eye camps in India-100 regained sight-Bob Smeallie
$200 donated to IPAC to provide shoes for lepers in New Guinea-Bob Smeallie
Formed matched club relationship with Kandy Rotary Club in Sri Lanka
Provided funds-$380 for 3 underpriveleged children to attend Vision Valley camp
Forwarded $1000 to Rotary club of Kandy to provide accommodation for refugees
Ceded territory for formation of new Rotary Club of North Ryde
