A MESSAGE FROM YOLA

27 May 2005

Hey everyone!

I finally finished, at least, my written exams! Thank God! Its such an easement!

The exams went alright... Not too good but not too bad either! I will get to know my marks in about three weeks. We all can't wait to know how they went... Especially because if we differ more than three points from our previous marks we also have to do an oral in that subject which is a week later. So there will not be much time to prepare because we also have one oral that week that is compulsory for everyone...

Anyway, at the moment I'm having the best time ever! Last week there was a kind of gymnastics week in Berlin! There were about 100,000 people from all over Germany and my friends and me had so much fun! Unbelievable. I also met Hans again who was also a Rotary exchange student in Grafton!

Berlin is really fantastic! The people were great and at least the half week we had good weather!

Now I'm back home and working every day to earn some money to finance my further trips!!!!!

IN August I'm going to India for a month! I'm so looking forward to it! I'm going with a group that consists of four other Germans, 5 from France and one from Austria! I'm so exited! It will be so different to everything I've seen so far in my life.We are going from Delhi to Calcutta!

What else is to say? At the moment I'm enjoying the sun and missing all the pools in Australia at the same time... You guys really have to come and visit me here!

Oh, did I tell you yet that Adam came to visit me in January?! It was so good to hear some news from the Gold Coast! Although he only stayed a day it was so good and he made me miss Australia even more... However it is so difficult for me to come back because we never have  long holidays in January and I really want to come in that time...

I'm not giving up! Maybe as soon as I'm at Uni I get holidays then and I might be able to come! Who knows maybe already this year!!!! The hope dies last!

OK, so far from Saarbrücken!

All the best. I miss you all.

Take care
