Greetings from Grand Rapids, Michigan! I'm currently at the Central States Youth Exchange summer conference with 600+ other exchange students!!!! Everyone is here to share his of her  RYE experiance with others, the rebounds have been answering every question imaginable from the outbound kids and parents which is all heaps of fun. The Rotarians
have arranged some great speakers including ambassadorial scholars, and RI President Carl-Wilhelm Stenhammer, who was kind enough to shake hands and have a photo with over 150 rebound exchange students!!!(I'll get you the photo when I get to a scanner). Other than that, I've been up in northern MI with some friends jet-skiing, waterskiing, and playing until we are sore and bruised, or what I would call fun!!
Anyway hope you are all surviving without me!!
 :)
love,
krissy

Hullo everyone!!! Sorry its been so long, I've been pretty busy in the past few weeks, mostly because I've just started classes today at Uni!! I'm living down in Bloomington-Normal Illinois (about two hours south of Aurora) in a little closet size room with one other person, sheesh! Life is pretty crazy here, I'm on the top floor of my dorm with girls on the floor, all sharing one bathroom, other than that its, go to class, study, eat icky food, and study, heaps of fun! sorry that's about all for now! Miss you all heaps!!!

Message from Krissy - 17 November 2005 Snowflakes!!!

Hi everyone!!
Well big and exciting news: I walked out of my building at 7:45 this morning only to find that there was this funny white stuff falling from the sky...So for all you southern hemisphere folk, hope you're enjoying your summer because we're all freezing up here!! Especially after acclimating! More new and exciting things, I'm close to finishing my first term of uni, with three weeks left of class, and only three days before thanksgiving holidays!!! which means five days off of school to recuperate before final exams. But such is life, just wanted to send a quick hello to everyone before uni gets really crazy! Miss you all heaps!!
love,
krissy
