DUTIES - DISTRICT CHAIRMAN RYTS

In the words of one of the students when he spoke at Rotary, "It was the best week of my life so far."

Prior to the camp:

Hold six or seven meetings with the attendants.  Meetings have been on weekends for about 2 to 2.5 hours.  Attendants come from all parts of the district.
Lead them as they organize the program, the activities and the materials for the camp.
Send information to the High Schools and the Rotary Clubs about the camp.  Follow up these requests with the Clubs

To Interested Rotarians

I am currently seeking Rotarians interested in joining the RYTS Committee.
I would like to invite interested Rotarians to join with me now so that you have the RYTS experience before you take over.
I personally have thoroughly enjoyed the experience working with enthusiasitc young people who are prepared to give so much to be part of the program.  The attendants travel from all parts of the district to meetings, (Goondiwindi to Lismore) and organize their holidays so they can attend camp.  These Rotaractors and other ex-RYLA awardees live the spirit of Rotary: Fun, Friendships and Service.

If you require any further information please contact me.
