Dear Rotary Leaders:

THE INTERNATIONAL ASSEMBLY

This month’s cover story is a two page report on the recently completed International Assembly (IA) in San Diego, California USA.

Often the DGEs are overwhelmed by the amount of material covered at the IA

It is vitally important that as Rotary Leaders --  this is an opportunity, an ideal time to contact the DGEs in your areas to clarify any questions they may have following the Assembly and offer your guidance for PETS as well as in the coming Rotary year.

Stay connected!

THINK OF THAT!   You can nominate for an award and it will not cost you or your club/district one dollar.

WE NEED YOUR HELP TO SELECT THE BEST AND THE BRIGHTEST FROM YOUR AREA OF THE WORLD.

Please see pages 15 & 16 for the Scholarships Timeline.

ROTARY FOUNDATION ALUMNI

Rotary wants to reconnect with one of its most valuable assets – Rotary Foundation Alumni – and we need your help and commitment.  The Rotary Foundation has produced more than 105,000 alumni since 1947 and most are not Rotarians and have not remained connected to Rotary.

Please read pages 17 to 20 on Rotary Foundation Alumni and an important message from the Chair of the TRF Trustees of RI, Bob Scott (page 17).

This February 15, 2008 - Our Foundation Newsletter is very readable, informative and interesting.  Click this link (below) to read this issue - and please share this Foundation newsletter with your colleagues and webmasters …
