Dear Rotary Leaders:

Have we become unaffected by the word CRISIS?

Would the word disaster, catastrophe, emergency or calamity strike our psyche - our social consciousness with greater impact?

When Rotary International President Elect DK Lee tells us that 30,000 children under the age of five die every day from preventable diseases - is that number inconceivable?

Believe it! There are thirty thousand deaths a day (almost 11,000,000 per year) of children under the age of five mainly because of  health and hunger issues.

Can Rotarians help to address this CRISIS?  Yes they can, because Rotarians are social activists.

How do you think Rotarians might help?
