A Special Meeting of the Parkwood Rotary Club held on 11 March 2008:

Past President Mark Kent's head shaving to support the Leukaemia Foundation’s “World’s Greatest Shave”

Guest Speaker past Parkwood member Mike Coghlan, Design Engineer for Gateway Motorway upgrade

Susan Tyrrell organised fund raising on behalf of the club and when she announced that
the target of $1,500 had been well and truly met PP Mark knew that the shave was on.
Amidst much applause Susan stated that the actual figure was $3,907.46 at last count.

Members welcomed Mike and Tracey Coghlan back to the Club

Mike gave an excellent address outlining the  modern technology
being used for this massive project.
With the support of videos he gave the Club a complete insight into
the immense changes takes place at the Gateway Motorway.
