  The Club made a Vocational Visit to the modern RIMCO factory of PP David and Wil Rolle on 5 June.  Photos
Another practical demonstration of Vocational Excellence by a member of the Club. David provided the leadership for a major building project for Bravehearts.
     
  Past President John Smith presented Ken Bonython with a sapphire to his Paul Harris Fellowship in recognition of his outstanding community service. During 2006/7 Ken led the Club's fund raising efforts, as well as valuable projects at Musgrave Hill and Labrador State Schools and Rotary Bowelscan.    Donations and Service for 2006/2007
     
  International Service Director John Tunnicliff arranged for the Club to contribute $4000 towards the cost of new classrooms and desks for
The School of St Jude
     
  The Club made a contribution of $4000 to  The Rotary Foundation   President Mark acknowledged that $1090 of this sum came from the proceeds of Guess Who Is Coming to Dinner functions organised by PRIT Brian Knowles.
     
  Past President John Smith presenting a club banner to John Glassford,
a joint leader of the Kili 28/8 project. Mandy Watson, one the climbers
of Mt Kilimanjaro, will be guest speaker at the club meeting on
17 July 2007.

The Club was kept informed of the outstanding service by Jenny Horton with the PolioPlus program in Pakistan. and extended congratulations when she received the International Service Award for a Polio Free World  PolioPlus links

The Club donates the proceeds of small change collected in a mug at each meeting.

Chris Lewis, District 9640 Chairman of ARHRF, gave an informative address to the Club on 19 June and was handed a cheque for $300 from President Mark.
