SUBMISSION FROM SEL HARDY’S GROUP

Membership:
            # Undertake a 'stocktake' of members classifications
            # Identify what classifications we are seeking in our Rotary Club
            # Be target specific about who we approach to become members
not just to induct them for numbers sake
            # Complete a 'Profile' which indicates what makes a good Rotarian
and use as a 'template' to identify age, sex, profession, background etc
            # Each member gives an undertaking to bring one prospective
               member who fits the Profile.
            # Prospective members be introduced to Rotary at a social function
not a Club Meeting so they can meet husbands and wives socially.
            # Have a 'buddy' appointed to all new members for at least 3 months until they
'learn the ropes' of meeting procedure and who does what.
            # Form a 'Friend of Rotary' list and invite these people to our Social Functions

Fund Raising:

            # Reintroduce 5th Tuesday's monthly for planned fund raising social meeting
            # Form a Committee specifically for Fund Raising who have experience in
writing to organisations such as Jupiters Trust to raise funds for worthwhile
                Community projects.
            # Friends of Rotary to assist us fundraising in the Community and by attending
               5th Tuesday social functions.
            # Fund raising to become a Major Annual Event eg Gold Coast Show , Race Day
            # Once Membership numbers are sufficient then have weekly fund raising on a
roster basis like Asmore Club's' sausage sizzle' at Domayne Bundall
