REPORT OF 2008 DISTRICT CONFERENCE HIGHLIGHTS

Many glowing reports of the Conference were presented to the meeting of the Club on 1 April.
In fact veteran Rotarian and Past RI Treasurer, Brian Knowles AM, commented that it was
the "best ever."

PDG Ken Smith collected much information during the Conference and this has been used
for this summary report.

A very comprehensive Conference agenda was completed in a businesslike manner and the
keynote speakers were a source of inspiration and renewed commitment to Rotary programs.

District Governor Brian Wheatley and the organising committee were commended on the
presentation of  a very successful Conference and the host clubs of Maclean, Iluka and
Yamba thanked for the level of friendship and fellowship engendered.
