| Some of the highlights were as

| 1. Honorary member, Cr Rob Molhoek was
Chairman for the occasion. |
2.
President for 2005/6, John
Smith, presented the Annual Reports
and handed over
the chain of office to Mark Kent, President 2006/7 |
| 3. PDGs Ian and Heather
Yarker represented the District Governor. |
4. Past President John
Smith presented a Paul Harris Fellowship Award
to President Mark Kent. |
5. PDG Ian Yarker on
behalf of District 9640 presented an additional Paul
Harris Fellowship Award to PRIT Brian Knowles AM |
| 6. Two new members,
Susan Tyrrell and Craig Tobler, were inducted. |
7. An outstanding
dancing exhibition was presented by two brilliant young
students and resulted in a spontaneous collection for
their benefit. |
8. Everyone
enjoyed the meal and fellowship and the evening concluded with
dancing. |
