What's New? ________________________________ Club visit to the Lismore 'Soup Kitchen'. Monday the 29th of May 2006 saw a well supported visit by club members to this facility which provides hearty meals to those in need. A service originating solely through the hard work of a few and kind donations from local businesses and individuals. Principal organiser of the 'Soup Kitchen', Ridley Bell, was presented with two cheques totalling some $1800. This was as a result of funds raised at last years 'Opera at the Channon' coupled with the this weeks meal fee normally paid by members at each meeting. With 'Opera at the Channon' only a couple of months away the Rotary Club of Lismore hopes to be able, again, to support the Lismore 'Soup Kitchen'.
