The Object of Rotary is to encourage and foster the ideal of service as a basis of worthy enterprise and, in particular, to encourage and foster:

1. First. The development of acquaintance as an opportunity for service;
2. Second. High ethical standards in business and professions; the recognition of the worthiness of all useful occupations; and the dignifying of each Rotarian's occupation as an opportunity to serve society;
3. Third. The application of the ideal of service in each Rotarian's personal, business and community life;
4. Fourth. The advancement of international understanding, goodwill, and peace through a world fellowship of business and professional persons united in the ideal of service.

Toowoomba City Rotary Club aims to be a club providing for:

• Rotary service to the International, National, District and Local communities,
• Fellowship and fun activities for the club, individual members and families, and
• Business and professional networking, and sharing information about our fields of occupation.

Our priorities are to:

• Offer support for projects that further the health and vitality of families, children and the environment,
• Support youth programs - including international exchanges and cultural educational programs,
• Offer an annual Rotary Foundation contribution, and
• Maintain a general balance of gender, ages and business and professionals in the club.

In order to achieve these priorities the club needs to fundraise across various events each year. It is the responsibility of the club board to decide on which specific events and projects that the club will participate in.
