Happenings at the Mitchelton Rotary Club
Meetings are held on a weekly basis, usually at the Arana Leagues Club, commencing at 6pm for a 6.30pm start. Meetings normally last to around 8pm.
Members have a two course meal during the meeting which includes a formal session for members to report on club activities. Usually, a guest speaker presents for about twenty minutes on a topic of interest to members.
Meetings are undertaken in a light-hearted manner with considerable emphasis on fun and good humour.
Through a series of club committees, Mitchelton Rotarians undertake a wide range of projects within the local community and internationally. (See Club Activities) On a regular basis, partners and guests are included in club meetings.
Rotary International membership rules require a member to attend at least 50% of meetings in a six month period.
