An annual cabaret style concert in the canteen of Mitsubishi Motors and featuring well known and popular South Australian musicians has been held has been held since February 2000. 

Funds from the Musicfests have been directed to equipping and furnishing the Blackwood Community Performing Arts Centre and the Blackwood Community Recreation Centre.

Past performers have included the popular SA Police Band, the Tea Rose Duo, E-Type Jazz, Tasso Bouyessis, Elizabeth Campbell, Rohan Powell, Australian Army Band, SA Co-Opera and other well known individual singers and instrumentalists. It has also provided a venue for the polished performances of the Blackwood High School Show Band.

Its success has ensured the running of this program in subsequent years with eagerly sought ticket sales.

THE 2007 EVENT WAS HELD AT THE MITSUBISHI MOTORS CAFETERIA, TONSLEY PARK

ON SAT March 30th. 

AN OUTSTANDING PROGRAMME OF PERFORMERS WAS ENTHUSIASTICALLY APPRECIATED BY AN AUDIENCE OF 860 PEOPLE.

THE 2008 EVENT WILL ONCE AGAIN BE HELD AT THE MITSUBISHI MOTORS CAFETERIA, ON SAT APRIL 5th.
