The program includes the formation and development of self-help groups and the provision of small business opportunities to disadvantaged citizens of the town.

The Avenue of Trees

The Club has been active since 1996 on its Airport Avenue of Trees. It has planted and maintained the carob trees and shrubs along the 1.5 km stretch of Walnut Avenue leading to the entrance of the Mildura Airport.

There are 400 trees in the avenue. The Club has installed a drip watering system and over 400 cubic metres of mulch. It has laid 2.4 kms of underground irrigation pipe.

This coming year there are plans for a further 800 cubic metres of mulch and extensive extension of the watering system

The RAAF Memorial Gardens
