Mildura was established in the 1880's by the Chaffey Brothers.  From it's small unstable beginnings as an irrigation colony, Mildura grew to be a vibrant regional city.  Situated on the banks of the Murray River, in the heart of Sunraysia, with its vineyards and green scenery, is a true oasis in the desert.

The Rotary Club of Mildura was chartered on the 25th August 1933 and commenced with 23 members and we are proud to have been the first Rotary Club established in Sunraysia.

The Rotary Club of Mildura celebrated 75 years of service to our community in 2008.

In the 2000/2001 Rotary year, our club opened its doors to welcome women members and in the year 2009 our membership stands at 46 members, 4 honorary members and includes 11 women.
