Fund Raising

This is the major fund raising activity by the Club.

It operates Mon and Wed-Fri 10:00 am to 3:00 pm and Saturday 9:00 am to midday in a shop at the rear of the Marden Shopping Centre - Phone 8363 5991.

Donations of goods will be accepted during the shop operating hours or phone 8411 0277 to arrange for the goods to be collected (or email stpeters@rotarnet.com.au).

We need items that are in good condition, particularly small furniture,  electrical, tools, toys, books (except encyclopaedias and text books), bric-a-brac, clothes and shoes.   We also accept scrap metal including white goods.  We do not accept beds, mattresses, large desks, computer monitors and printers, and old TVs.    Click on this link for more details on the goods that we need and our instructions to our pick-up crews.

The Jumble Sale will be held on the first Saturday in March from 8:00 am until 12:00 pm at the Linde Reserve, St Peters (opposite the St Peters Town Hall). There will be over an acre of goods for sale including furniture, books, hardware, kitchen goods, toys, clothing and virtually any saleable goods. Phone 8411 0277 to arrange for donated goods to be collected.

The Rotary Shed is located at 44 Henry St, Stepney and is open Friday mornings for Furniture Sales only.    (Sorry but all other goods are only sold through the Shop.)  

The facilities at the Shed include a truck with a tailgate lifter and an electric stacker.
