A special meeting: 24 Jan 05
This was the meeting that our club's GSE member, Mark Henske, circled in photo, was to report back. He died in an accident in Novemeber 04.
So the whole GSE team, led by Rtn Bob Nottage came for him. The club was presented with a special bound book of photos and many banners collected by Mark in Canada & USA. DG Euan Miller was present, as was Mark's family.

These girls were sponsored by the club to attend the inaugural RYPEN camp at Lake Cullulleraine, hosted by the Rotary Club of Mildura. By their account it was a great success.

 

 

Mary Vincent, Director of New Generations, updated us on the RYWELL program, (Rotary Youth Wellbeing). RYWELL runs weekend camps for disadvantaged youth, aiming to give them the opportunity to experience different reactions to their behaviour, receive positive reinforcement and be involved in positive conflict resolution.

Our Club will be involved in january camp. Helpers are required.
