RAWCS team
project in Kiunga,
Papua New Guinea
to erect two
kit homes for teachers at Montfort Technical College. Intrepid volunteers
(Bob Northcote, Mal Hansen, Geoff Thorpe, David Tuckwell and Kevin Parken)
had to contend with heat, rain, mud, high humidity and more rain. But
they got the job done! The school is expanding from yr 9-10 to take in
yrs 11-12, both boys and girls. Kiunga in in the remote Western Province,
about 800 km from Port Moresby and 25 km from the border with West Irian
(Indonesia).
