CARNEVALE 200

The Rotary Club of Campbelltown had a major stall at the annual Italian pre Easter festival held at Rymill Park on 5-6 February 2005. Our club has many Rotarians who are Italian. This was a chance for them (and the rest of the Club) to share in the Italian community's festival. It was a great success, with the team grossing in excess of $23,000. The porchetta, cooked to perfection, was on constant demand. A great effort!

CARNEVALE 2004
We win FIRST prize for the best stall. Adelaide experienced a heat wave on the two days with temperatures over 38deg C.
We sold Porchetta (pit roasted pork), pasta, oysters, Italian cakes and desserts, gelati, expresso coffee, wine, beer and soft drinks.
Minstrals serenading our stall. Service beyond self in such heat. Rick Webber and son James cooking the porchetta. Pat Ruotolo and daughter Sarah. Support from family members for the two days was wonderful.

CARNEVALE 2003  8-9 February 2003 was our First Carnevale. We sold Frittata (Italian quiche), Italian cakes and desserts, gelati, watermelon, expresso coffee, wine, beer and soft drinks.
Our stall was well patronised

A constant demand for gelati keeps the men busy.

Carnevale Preparation:
Much behind the scenes effort went into making Carnvale a success. These photos were taken of a group preparing the roasted capsicum, to be served with the frittata
