What is Rotary? : Object of Rotary : RI Foundation : RI History : RDU History : Themes : What is Rotarnet?

ROTARNET is the Official website for Rotary Down Under. It links to information about Rotary, and Rotary Down Under, the Rotary Down Under magazine, the Australian Rotary Health Research Fund - a Rotary down Under project, Probus, The Australian Youth Exchange Program, the Rotary merchandise online catalogue. District websites and Club websites are found by post code, alphabetically and through the District index. Rotary Down Under offer hosting for Rotary clubs and District sites on the Rotary Down Under servers.

Rotarnet is linked to as many Rotary web sites as possible - including all District and Club web sites we know of. Many Rotary Down Under club and District web sites are hosted on Rotarnet.

Rotarnet aims to aid communication and provide information for Rotarians and their communities.

ROTARNET IS A PORTAL

Currently Rotarnet receives almost 5,000 visitors EVERY DAY. It has become a portal - a funnel leading people through its front door to the interesting items within.

Rotarnet also advertises Rotary in Australia. It explains to the community what Rotary is about. That Rotarians are not just old fuddy duddies selling raffle tickets.

That Rotary in Australia is full of modern minded people, who are not only helping the local community, but the global community, and what's more, having a good time doing it!

It's fun to belong to Rotary. We know that. We who are Rotarians understand the camaraderie that working together brings, and the satisfaction achieved by helping where help is needed in small and large ways. That we are not just reactive to catastrophe, but also work towards developing the future of our communities, our countries and our world.

If you are interested in learning more about Rotary, please browse this section, and then visit the index of Districts, and from here choose the District that covers your area. There is a list of clubs within that area - one will be near you. Call in on a club night - you will be made most welcome.
